Privacy Protection Guidelines for the UnionPay Cross-Border B2B Payment and Service Platform

Thank you for using the UnionPay Cross-Border B2B Payment and Service Platform (hereinafter referred to as the “App”). Before using the App, you should fully read and understand the Privacy Protection Guidelines (hereinafter referred to as the “Guidelines”). The Guidelines, as an integral part of the Privacy Policy for the UnionPay International Unified Account System, shall, together with the Privacy Policy for the UnionPay International Unified Account System, apply to the App. Matters not covered in the Guidelines shall be subject to the Privacy Policy for the UnionPay International Unified Account System. The terms in the Guidelines that may be closely related to your rights and interests are highlighted in bold for your attention.

The Guidelines apply to scenarios where you access the App through channels provided by UnionPay International or third-party channels. If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions about the Guidelines, reach out to us with the contact information provided in the Guidelines.



1. Collection and Use of Personal Information

When you use the App, we need to collect and use your personal information. We will explain below what categories of personal information we collect and for what purposes the personal information will be used.

We collect and process personal data of partners who register on the UnionPay Cross-Border B2B Payment and Service Platform and use services (hereinafter referred to as “Users”), including the following categories:

User's contact information based on the country or region where you are located, including the contact's name, email, and phone number.

We may process your personal information for the following purposes:

(1) To review the User's qualifications according to the requirements for the services applied for by the User, and complete the User account registration and login; and

(2) To keep records. UnionPay International will keep your personal information.



2. Management of Personal Information

Unless otherwise specified in the Privacy Policy for the UnionPay International Unified Account System, you may query, correct, and delete your personal information by clicking Account Management on the App to go to the Account Management page. If you have any questions about the Guidelines or your personal information protection rights, contact us through the contact information provided in the Guidelines.



3. Updates to the Guidelines and Notices

To adapt to the development of the social environment and provide better services, we will develop and update the App constantly. Therefore, we may revise the Guidelines from time to time and indicate the date of the latest update of the Guidelines, which will take effect after being publicized. After the Guidelines is updated, we will inform you through pop-ups, page prompts, or other means on the pages of the App.You may refer to the Guidelines in the “Privacy Policy” section of the App at any time.
